<P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide an on-vehicle camera capable of outputting a clear image signal to an on-vehicle monitor even at night or the like wherein the illuminance of an object reaches a minimum illuminance or below. <P>SOLUTION: The on-vehicle camera of this invention has a function of reducing and correcting the number of frames at which the lowest object illuminance can be ensured so as to increase an electric charge storage time of a CCD element so that the camera can output a sufficient bright image signal to the on-vehicle monitor even at night or the like wherein the illuminance of an object reaches the lowest illuminance or below. Further, the on-vehicle camera has the function of reducing and correcting the number of frames at which real time performance can be ensured so as to obtain a video image without a jaggy sense. <P>COPYRIGHT: (C)2003,JPO |
