PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a method of designing an article capable of performing designing of high degree of freedom even by utilizing a golden value, and to provide the article designed by this method, and a program for executing this method. SOLUTION: This design system 10 comprises a primary sequence setting procedure 42 for calculating a primary golden value by using a golden ratio to a set reference value, and setting the primary golden value as primary sequence, a secondary sequence setting means 43 for calculating a secondary golden value as an intermediate value of the primary golden values by using the primary golden value, and setting the secondary golden values as the secondary sequence, a tertiary sequence setting means 44 for calculating a tertiary golden value as an intermediate value of the secondary golden values by using the primary golden value, and setting the tertiary golden values as the tertiary sequence, and a designing means 32 for performing the designing on the basis of the primary, secondary and tertiary golden values.
