<P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a phase change optical recording medium which can obtain a favorable characteristic for optical recording, reproduction and rewriting with a light beam near a wavelength of 400 nm. <P>SOLUTION: The recording medium is a phase change optical information recording medium 10 on which at least, a reflective layer 2, a first protection layer 3, a record layer 4, a second protection layer 5, and a cover layer 7 are laminated on a substrate 1 to this order, information recording and deletion are performed by irradiation of the light beam from the cover layer 7 side, and heat dissipation layers 8, 9 are arranged on both sides of the above second protection layer 5 or the heat dissipation layer 8 arranged between the above second protection layer 5 and the recording layer 4. <P>COPYRIGHT: (C)2003,JPO |
