摘要 PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a flow improver effective for remarkably improving the low-temperature fluidity of not only a fuel oil having a broad boiling temperature range but also the fuel oil having a narrow boiling temperature range by the addition of a small amount of the improver compared with conventional agents, having good solubility to a base oil and free from the problem of the hindrance of oil flow, and provide a fuel oil composition containing the improver. SOLUTION: The flow improver is composed of a copolymer (A) containing units derived from (a) ethylene and (b) one or more monomers selected from the compounds of general formulas (1)-(3) as essential constituent units, and the fuel oil composition contains the flow improver. R<SP>1</SP>-COO-R<SP>2</SP>...(1); R<SP>2</SP>-CO-R<SP>1</SP>...(2); and R<SP>3</SP>-(COOR<SP>1</SP>)<SB>2</SB>...(3) (R<SP>1</SP>is a 5-23C unsaturated aliphatic hydrocarbon group; R<SP>2</SP>is a 1-4C alkenyl; and R<SP>3</SP>is a 1-4C alkenylene).
