PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a fluid bearing mechanism securing high accuracy, achieving considerable reduction of manhour and low cost, and having an oil circulation hole which prevents shortage of oil during high speed rotation. SOLUTION: The upper bearing part 2a and lower bearing part 2b for supporting a rotating shaft 3 and thrust receiving part 2c are provided to the inside of a bottomed cylinder in which a bearing housing 2 secured onto a mounting hole of a stator base 1 is sealed, in which oil 4 of a lubrication fluid is filled. The opening side oil sump 2d is provided to the opening side of the cylinder. The bottom side oil sump 2e is provided to the bottom side. The intermediate part oil sump 2f is provided between the upper bearing part 2a and the lower bearing part 2b. The oil circulation hole 2g is provided in parallel to the rotating shaft 3 so as to connect the opening side oil sump 2d, the intermediate part oil sump 2f and the cylinder side oil sump 2e. A space 2h is formed on the opening side, onto which a cap 5 for oil leakage prevention is fixed. COPYRIGHT: (C)2003,JPO
