PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a ball screw suitable for use in the high-load condition such as an injection molding machine and a press forming machine. SOLUTION: A ratio An/As between a cross section As along the radial direction of a nut 14 and a cross section An along the radial direction of a screw shaft 11 is set within a range at 0.9-1.1, desirably, at 1.0-1.05 to reduce the abrasion quantity of a ball 15.
