PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a wire connection terminal which can connect an aluminum wire while breaking an oxide coating of the aluminum wire. SOLUTION: Projected pieces 7, 8 are provided so as to project from inner surfaces of both sidewalls 5, 6 forming a receiving groove 4 for receiving a conductor 2a of an aluminum wire 2, and barrels 9, 10 for clipping the aluminum wire 2 are formed on upper edges of both sidewalls 5, 6. When the conductor 2a of the aluminum wire 2 is inserted into between both projected pieces 7, 8, and the receiving groove 4 is compressed and deformed by bending the barrels 9, 10, the projected pieces 7, 8 bite into the surface of the aluminum wire 2, thereby breaking and removing an oxide coating on the surface of the conductor thereof.
