PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a circuit breaker which does not likely produce a gap between a body and a cover, and does not likely cause contact failure and falling-off of terminal components even by strong tightening of a terminal screw. SOLUTION: The circuit breaker comprises a box-shaped terminal frame 10 laterally engaged into a device 1 consisting of the body 2 and the cover 3, a terminal plate 20 inserted into the terminal frame 10, and a terminal screw 12 screwably positioned from the upper face of the terminal frame 10 for coupling a wiring member between the terminal frame 10 and the terminal plate 20. projection steps 25a are formed along the side of the device 1 on projected pieces 25 on both ends of a rising piece 24 folded along the side of the device 1 on the terminal plate 20, and recess steps 8c are formed on the side of the device 1 into which the projection steps 25a are engaged, resulting in the body 2 and the cover 3 being hooked with the projection and recess steps 25a, 8c when a force is exerted in the direction to separate them.
