PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a keytop switch for an electronic musical instrument, which is capable of easily positioning a keytop with accuracy at a prescribed position in a backward and forward or a right and left directions, and reducing its cost. SOLUTION: A keytop switch 1 for an electronic musical instrument is fixed in an operation panel 2, and comprises a rib 2b for positioning the switch at a prescribed position in a back and forth direction on a rear face of the operation panel 2, a keytop 4 fixed on a rear face of the operation panel in such a state that a first engaging part 9a engages the rib 2b, and at a prescribed position an engaging part 3a for positioning the switch at a prescribed position in a right and left direction. Here, the engaging part 3a has a switch base 3 fixed in the operation panel 2 in such a state that the engaging part 3a engages a second engaging part 9c of the keytop 4. COPYRIGHT: (C)2003,JPO
