<p><P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a constitution capable of suppressing an influence upon a reproducing function of packet loss and a constitution capable of controlling the buffering capacity to be able to cope with consecutive abandonment of packets arriving beyond a maximum allowable delay time with respect to a system wherein a real-time continuous stream is transmitted to a packet communication network which has a large fluctuation in transmission delay and has inevitable packet losses. <P>SOLUTION: Indexes of a packet loss rate, a transmission delay fluctuation, etc., are calculated from the monitor information of a communication state monitor part 123 in a reception terminal 102, and the data is received by a transmission control part 113 in a data server 101, and transmission parameters are determined in accordance with communication state indexes, and network monitor information is received to dynamically change the transmission parameters, and thus degradation in quality in reproducing is reduced. <P>COPYRIGHT: (C)2003,JPO</p> |
