PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To enable an electronic apparatus, which requires a plurality of batteries, to be used even when the prescribed number of batteries is unavailable. SOLUTION: This power supply, configured to obtain a prescribed voltage from a prescribed number of batteries, comprises a battery storing part that stores the batteries; a judging means that judges whether or not the prescribed number of batteries is stored in the battery storing part; and a boosting means that boosts a voltage to a prescribed one. This boosting means is configured to boost a voltage to the prescribed one if the judging means judges that the number of batteries stored in the battery storing part is less than the prescribed one.
