PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To enable a user to easily utilize the Internet without paying attention to 'my-line' contract contents with respect to an information processor having a communication function and a recording medium. SOLUTION: The information processor is provided with telephone company selection information acquiring means (12, 13, etc.), which dial a telephone number accessible to a 'my-line' information database 25 of a device on the exchange side through a telephone line to acquire user's contracted telephone company selection information registered in the 'my-line' information database 25 and a dial information setting part 14 which uses the acquired 'my-line' information and provider information preliminarily set in the local device (information in a provider information storage part 11) to set dial setting information, which is used for dial transmission to an access point of a contracted Internet provider, to a database 17 in the local device.
