PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide an aluminum electrolytic capacitor with superior withstanding voltage, superior heat resistance, and superior vibration durability by solving a problem of a short circuit in high-temperature caused by low heat resistance. SOLUTION: The capacitor includes a capacitor element 11, in which an anode foil connected with an outside connecting lead and a cathode foil are wound with a separator in between, a cylindrical metallic case having a bottom for housing the capacitor element 11, and a sealing plate 15 for sealing the opening of the metallic case 16. Gel-state polymer 14 having ion conductivity is formed in the inside and the outer face of the capacitor element 11, and the gel-state polymer 14 adheres to the inner face of the metallic case 16 to fix the capacitor element 11.
