PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a sheet processing device which can be installed in an image forming apparatus without damaging the appearance of the image forming apparatus, and also, having good design. SOLUTION: As for the sheet processing device 200 installed on the top surface of the image forming apparatus 100 to process the sheet delivered from the image forming apparatus 100, a recessed part 210 is arranged at the lower end part of the side face of the sheet processing device main body 201 of the sheet processing device 200, and a gap G1 is formed by the recessed part 210 between the device main body 201 and the top surface of the image forming apparatus main body 101 in the case the sheet processing device 200 is installed on the top surface of the image forming apparatus 100.
