PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a liquid crystal display device optimized in display performance by relaxing fluctuation of contrast when displaying a pattern with large variation in driving current like a striped pattern (of which the horizontal line repeats white, black, white, black,... at each line) and cross-talk (shadowing phenomenon) under the condition that a wirable area width of input wiring to a common (scanning) driver IC for driving pixel electrodes by a voltage average method is limited, on a substrate of the same glass or plastic or the like as forms a display picture part. SOLUTION: When forming the input wiring to the driver IC for driving the pixel electrodes on the common side glass substrate from ITO (or lamination of ITO and aluminum) by the voltage average method, concerning the input wiring of the common side driver, the pattern widths of two intermediate potential lines are made (n-s)/s times the pattern width of a selection voltage line (n: the number of common pixel electrode lines, s: the number of pixel electrode lines to be selected at the same time in the common side scanning).
