STATE DETECTOR FOR SHEET-LIKE PICTURE RECORDING CARRIER

PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a state detector for a sheet-like picture recording carrier capable of advancingly detecting possibility of damage to the sheet-like picture recording carrier or a cassette for housing the same.

SOLUTION: A comparator 102 outputs a pulse signal Vc to a holding circuit 104 when an output voltage Vs1 from an acceleration sensor 90 is judged to be higher than an output (reference voltage Vb1) from a reference voltage setting device 100. The holding circuit 104 holds a high-level lighting signal Vhld. A light emitting diode (LED) 94 is made to light in accordance with the lighting signal Vhld supplied from the holding circuit 104 and sends a notice informing that excessive external force is applied to the cassette 80.
