PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a recording/reproducing device capable of using even a rotary disk large in recording capacity. SOLUTION: The recording/reproducing device is provided with a digital camera (recording/reproducing device main body) 1 for recording data on a first rotary disk 2, and reproducing the data recorded on the first rotary disk 2, and a cradle (additional device) 11 on which the digital camera 1 is set. The first rotary disk 2 is set singly by the digital camera and, when the digital camera 1 is set on the cradle 11, a second rotary disk larger in diameter than the first rotary disk 2 is set.
