PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a magnetic core for a coil that can be further miniaturized with an equivalent magnetic characteristics as a conventional core. SOLUTION: A magnetic core for a coil 1 comprises: a first magnetic core member 10 having the first plate-like part 12 and a columnar core part 11 that is erected at the center part of the first plate-like part 12; and a second magnetic core member 20 having a second plate-like part 21 having a through hole A allowing the columnar core part 11 to be fitted at the center part, and an outer tube part 22 that is hung from the periphery of the second plate-like part 21.
