PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a nondestructive inspection method for a ceramic coating material that can detect occurrence of a crack causing peeling of a ceramic coating material without destroying an inspected body. SOLUTION: The nondestructive inspection method is an inspection method for a ceramic coating material comprising a film of ceramic material formed over a base material surface. Raman-scattered light intensity measurement, in which the coating material is irradiated with laser light from a surface side and Raman-scattered light intensity of the coating material is measured at a focal position of the laser light, is conducted with the focal position of the laser light moved in a thickness direction of the coating material. From Raman- scattered light intensity distribution in the thickness direction of the coating material obtained by the measurement, presence/absence of crack occurrence and a crack occurrence position are detected in the ceramic coating material.
