PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a technique for eliminating abnormal conditions and the like of a dried article by detecting abnormal conditions such as abnormal high temperature and overdry of dried articles and cakes near a discharge port in a casing, and automatically spraying water and shutting off a heat exchange medium. SOLUTION: An abnormal condition detecting sensor 22 such as a temperature sensor for detecting abnormal high temperature of the dried articles and products and the like stagged near a discharge port 7 in a casing 1 is provided at a top face part 1d on the other end (rear end) of the casing 1. Abnormal overheating of the dried articles and the like is detected by the abnormal condition detecting sensor 22, and water is sprayed by a water spray means 23 provided in the casing 1 according to detection signal to spray or distribute water evenly to the top face part inside the casing 1, and an abnormal condition portion, namely an abnormal high temperature portion.
