<P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a means capable of easily setting an automatic operation of a camera from the standpoint of general-purpose. <P>SOLUTION: The digital still camera comprises: a system control section 2 for controlling the entire digital still camera; an imaging section 3 comprising an optical system component or the like provided for imaging; an image processing section 4 for applying various image processes to an image signal obtained by the imaging section 3; a display control section 5 for applying processing to an image signal processed by the image processing section 4 to display the processed image signal to an LCD; the LCD 6 for displaying an image; a recording medium interface section 7 for interfacing a recording medium; a recording medium 8 for storing various information items associated with the compressed image signal and an image; and a hard key interface section 9 comprising a sub CPU or the like provided to detect a state of a user interface such as a key and a dial and for main power control to a main CPU. <P>COPYRIGHT: (C)2003,JPO |
