<P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To obtain ink-jet ink which provides even plain paper, recycled paper and coated paper with a high printing quality and secures high discharge stability. <P>SOLUTION: The ink-jet ink contains at least a colorant and water, a substance having structure represented by formula (I) (R<SB>1</SB>, R<SB>2</SB>, R<SB>3</SB>and R<SB>4</SB>are each independently a 0-6C alkyl chain which may contain branched structure; A<SB>1</SB>O and A<SB>2</SB>O are each independently an ethylene oxide group, a propylene oxide group or copolymerization structure of the propylene oxide group and the ethylene oxide group; n and m are each a repeating unit of A<SB>1</SB>O or A<SB>2</SB>O; 0≤n<30, 0≤m<30 and 0≤n+m±50) and a substance having structure represented by formula (II) R<SB>5</SB>-O-(C<SB>2</SB>H<SB>4</SB>O)<SB>i</SB>-(C<SB>3</SB>H<SB>6</SB>O)<SB>j</SB>-H formula (II) (R<SB>5</SB>is a 4-20C alkyl group or cycloalkyl group; i and j are each a repeating uniform of C<SB>2</SB>H<SB>4</SB>O and C<SB>3</SB>H<SB>6</SB>O). <P>COPYRIGHT: (C)2003,JPO |
