<P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide an information providing system enabling a user to easily collect weather forecast related information over a network. <P>SOLUTION: When a network user desires to collect a weather forecast over a network, the place and time to be covered by the forecast that the user wants are in most cases known in advance. To collect a weather forecast over the network, however, the user has to follow a plurality of links. A Web page which includes both weather forecast related information and advertisers' advertisements, when available, enables the user to easily land on a weather forecasting page through the page prepared by advertisers.
