<P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide an advertisement proxy server capable of enhancing the effect of advertisement in an advertisement distribution system utilizing e-mail. <P>SOLUTION: The advertisement proxy server prepares e-mail including prescribed information to be distributed via the e-mail, advertisement information inserted into the prescribed information, mail address of the user to which the prescribed information is to be sent receive the e-mail, and server's own positional information on the network, and transmits the prepared e-mail to the user's address. The server, upon receiving a request message from the user terminal including the user's mail address, with the server positional information indicated in the e-mail received by the user and with the e-mail transmitted by the user including the user's mail address, extracts the user's mail address and forwards the extracted mail address to the server of the advertisement information providing advertiser. <P>COPYRIGHT: (C)2003,JPO |
