PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a fiber structure such as hollow fiber and functional fiber having voids and/or an irregular surface by making the conjugated fiber contained therein contact with water so as to dissolve and remove at least a part of a water soluble component of the fiber, and to provide a polymer molded product. SOLUTION: This polyvinyl alcohol-based conjugated fiber is composed of a core component and a sheath component, wherein the core component comprises an ambient-temperature water-soluble polyvinyl alcohol-based polymer having a melting point of≤200°C and a saponification degree of 60-90 mol%, and the sheath component comprises another thermoplastic polymer having a melting point of≤230°C. The fiber structure, or the polymer molded product, is formed by treating a fiber structural material containing the conjugated fiber, or a polymer molded material containing the fiber, with the water, so as to dissolve and remove at least a part of the ambient-temperature water-soluble polyvinyl alcohol-based polymer.
