PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a mobile phone which doesn't use metal parts in the appearance and has a printed circuit board, electric parts, or the like protected from impacts and load and has the operability and the productivity improved. SOLUTION: The mobile phone is provided with a front cover 1 and a rear cover 2 made of a material other than metals as appearance parts and a chassis 7 which is made of metal parts to which a printed circuit board 4 and an operation substrate 6 constituted in the housing are fixed. Metal parts are not used in the housing and the metal chassis having a high strength against impacts caused by drop or the like and load of bending and twisting is used to not only protect the printed circuit board 4 and electric parts 3 but also improve the operability of the operation substrate 6 and the productivity.
