PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To shorten response time in a digital/analog converter (DAC) using PWM while the output waveform is stabilized. SOLUTION: This DAC is provided with a pulse width modulation circuit 11 which modulates the pulse width of the output signal according to a control signal, a low-pass filter 13 which smooths the output signal of the pulse width modulation circuit and generates an analog output voltage, a low-pass filter control means 12 which generates the control signal for supplying to the pulse width modulation circuit, based on an input data and applies the signal to the prescribed position of the low-pass filter in the settling period when an absolute value of the variation of the pulse width to be output by the pulse width modulation circuit exceeds a prescribed value.
