PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a manufacturing method for a display panel with a structure where fluorescent particles are not easily deteriorated despite collision of electrons. SOLUTION: The manufacturing method for the display panel comprises the steps of; dipping a substrate 20 on which a fluorescent layer 22 is formed into liquid filled in a process tank so that the fluorescent layer 22 faces a liquid surface side (a); forming an intermediate film 23 on the liquid surface (b); leaving the intermediate film 23 on the fluorescent body 22 by lowering the liquid surface by ejecting the liquid from the process tank (c); drying the intermediate film 23 (d); forming a reflecting film 24 on the intermediate film 23 (e); and baking the intermediate film 23 (f). The glass transition temperature of resin forming the intermediate film is from 15°C to 30°C. COPYRIGHT: (C)2003,JPO
