PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To increase precision of a vehicle collision test and perform the preparation for the vehicle collision test easily by releasing, for example, toe-in of left and right travelling carriers attached instead of a wheel by an alignment release arm and confirming that a central point of the alignment release arm coincides with the center of vehicle width by a center pin to let the direction of advance of the traveling carrier coincide with the direction of traction of a test vehicle. SOLUTION: A vehicle collision test apparatus is provided with left and right travelling carriers 32L, 32R attached to a hub of a vehicle body instead of a wheel, the expansible alignment release arms 70A to 70D stretched over the travelling carriers 32L, 32R to make these travelling carriers 32L, 32R parallel to each other, and the center pin 75 provided at the center of the alignment release arms 70A to 70D to confirm that the central point of the alignment release arms 70A to 70D coincides with a central line 80 of the vehicle width.
