The present invention relates to an apparatus for cutting the heads and tails of fishes, and more specifically, to an apparatus for cutting the heads and tails of fishes, which is capable of providing functionalities including the reduction in labor costs, the improvement of work efficiency, the improvement in the freshness of fishes, and others by enabling the heads and tails of fishes such as mackerel to be cut at one apparatus regardless of sizes of the fishes. Namely, an apparatus for cutting the heads and tails of fishes according to the present invention comprises: a basic frame; a driving unit which is installed on the back side of the basic frame; a transfer conveyor which is installed on the front side of the basic frame such that the transfer conveyor is driven by the driving unit, and on which trays are installed in predetermined intervals to mount fishes on the trays such that the tails of the fishes are directed toward the basic frame; a feeding hopper which is installed on the basic frame such that the feeding hopper is positioned in a side direction of the transfer conveyor at the entry side of the transfer conveyor; a head cutting unit which is installed on the basic frame such that the head cutting unit is positioned in a side direction of the feeding hopper, which is driven by the driving unit, and which cuts the heads of the fishes mounted on the trays; a tail cutting unit which is installed on the basic frame such that the tail cutting unit is positioned in a side direction of the head cutting unit, which is driven by the driving unit, and which cuts tails of the fishes mounted on the trays; and a pushing unit which is positioned between the head cutting unit and the tail cutting unit to align the fishes toward the tail cutting unit by pushing the head-cut fishes. |
