PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide an antibacterial and flameproofing agent keeping performances over a long period by applying the agent to a combustible material such as synthetic or natural fiber fabric or paper. SOLUTION: The antibacterial and flameproofing agent is obtained by acidifying an aqueous solution of ammonium sulfate with addition of an acidic ammonium phosphate, an acidic aluminium phosphate or an acidic titanium phosphate and adding an aqueous urethane or an acrylate thereto.
