The present invention relates to an electric scroll compressor. The electric scroll compressor comprises: an inverter casing (130) which has an inverter therein and is mounted on an inverter cover (110); and a cylindrical housing (200) having a drive unit (250) installed therein and controlled by the inverter and a compression unit (230) which is installed therein and compresses a refrigerant by the drive unit (250), wherein the inverter cover (110) and the inverter casing (130) are mounted on one end thereof and a rear head (300) is mounted on the other end thereof. The housing (200) has one body. According to the present invention, a number of housings is reduced to reduce a number of processing surfaces of parts stacked when assembling and a number of support units to improve mass production quality and reduce costs. |
