PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a fluidized-bed incinerator and its combustion control method being applicable to an existing incinerator, if slightly improved, and allowing continuous control of the amount of combustion air to establish a proper combustion air ratio in quick response to a change in quality or quantity of combustion materials including refuse as main fuel. SOLUTION: In the fluidized-bed incinerator 10 into which a controlled quantity of subsidiary fuel is charged for the purpose of keeping a combustion load constant even in a change in load of the main fuel, a pressure in the furnace or the flow rate of recirculating gas during combustion is detected and the quantity of the subsidiary fuel to be charged is controlled in accordance with the detected value so that the change of the main fuel is balanced by the manipulated variable of the subsidiary fuel.
