MANUFACTURING METHOD FOR PLASMA DISPLAY PANEL

PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a manufacturing method for a plasma display panel which suppresses forming of defects in a paste layer for screen printing even when bubbles are contained in the paste for the printing. SOLUTION: The manufacturing method is used to manufacture the plasma display panel which has two base plates facing each other in order to form a discharging space between the base plates. The screen printing is carried out using a printer which is provided with a squeezer 22 and a scraper 30 having a blade 37 and an auxiliary blade 38 which are arranged in regular order in a prescribed direction wherein the auxiliary blade 38 reduces sizes of the bubbles in the paste 20 for the printing. The paste 20 is filled in a plurality of openings of a screen 16 by pressing the scraper 30 against the screen 16 and moving the scraper 30 in Y direction. After that, the paste 20 which is filled in the openings of the screen 16 is transcribed on the base plate 21 using the squeezer 22. COPYRIGHT: (C)2003,JPO
