PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide an automatic switch with a heat ray sensor which has a wide operation section and uniformity with designs of other wiring devices. SOLUTION: A switch body 1 of the automatic switch with the heat ray sensor is installed on a building face through an installing frame having a window hole for installing. A plate set is attached facing the window hole to the front of the installing frame, where each plate has a long and narrow open-window longer and wider than the window hole in the longitudinal direction and the direction of the short side thereof. A projecting table 9 is provided in a front face of the switch body 1, and setting knobs 16a, 16b, a sliding button 11, and a lens for condensing heat ray on a human sensing sensor are disposed thereon. On the front of the switch body 1 is attached a dressed cover 20 with the nearly same outer side in the direction of the short side thereof as the size in that of the plates. From through-holes 25a, 25b and window holes 21, 22 of the dressed cover 20 are exposed the operating knobs 16a, 16b, the sliding button 11 and lens 18 respectively. COPYRIGHT: (C)2003,JPO
