PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a magneto optical recording device which can reduce a magnetic pole core size and realize high frequency recording, by regulating displacement in a direction parallel to a disk plane generated in a magnetic head slider caused by side-runout of a disk or the like. SOLUTION: In a disk head 1 having a fixed end at an end and a free end provided with a magnetic pole core 6 applying a magnetic field to a magneto optical disk 8 to the other end, a regulating member 9a to regulate the displacement of a direction parallel to the disk plane of the magnetic head 1 is provided. By suppressing the displacement in the direction parallel to the disk plane of a magnetic head slider 7 by this regulating member 9a, the magnetic pole core size can be reduced and the magneto optical recording device can cope with the high frequency recording.
