ELIMINATOR AND ABSORPTION WATER COOLING-HEATING MACHINE WITH ELIMINATOR

PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To downsize an eliminator, to improve its ability of capturing droplet, and then to provide a high-performance downsized absorption water cooling- heating machine by installing the eliminator. SOLUTION: The eliminator 11 for capturing droplets contained in a flow of steam comprises a plurality of vanes 13 layered at predetermined intervals and a droplet capturing means 14 provided on the surface of each vane 13 facing the flow of steam. The cross sectional view of the vane 13 is an inverted V-shape. In each vane 13, a front vane 13A is at a predetermined angle to a rear vane 13B. The bottom edge of the rear vane 13B is extended at least to the same height as the apex of the droplet capturing means 14 on the lower vane 13. COPYRIGHT: (C)2003,JPO
