PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a desciccant air conditioner in which an ill effect caused by heating of a drive motor of an air feed fan is avoided, and the efficiency of the air conditioning is improved. SOLUTION: This desiccant air conditioner 20 is provided with an air feed passage 4, an exhaust passage 6, a dehumidifier 8, a sensible heat exchanger, and a regeneration heater 16. The humidifier 8 dehumidifies the outside air taken from the outside into the air feed passage 4. The sensible heat exchanger 10 exchanges the heat between the dehumidified outside air and the indoor air taken from an indoor space, and the heat recovered from the indoor air is fed to the outside. Then, the outside air is fed to the indoor space, the indoor air is heated by the regeneration heater 16 to heat and regenerate the dehumidifier 8, and exhausted to the outside. The air feed passage is installed with the air feed fan 12 and the exhaust passage 6 is installed with an exhaust fan 14. A drive motor 22 of the air feed fan 12 is installed outside the air feed passage 4, which prevents the heat generated in driving from exerting the ill effect on the outside air flowing in the air feed passage 4.
