PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To improve heating performance of the front corners of a shelf of a showcase with electric heaters for heating and displaying commodities. SOLUTION: The showcase comprises a display space inside a main body with an opening at the front, a shelf 2 installed inside the display space for displaying the commodities, and an electric heater to heat the commodities heat-exchangeably mounted on a shelf board with good thermal conductivity which composes a commodity-setting surface of the shelf 2. A predetermined area from the front corners toward the back of the shelf 2 is made thicker than the rest. COPYRIGHT: (C)2003,JPO
