PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To make it possible to prevent a hinge cap from being incorrectly inserted into a hinge cylinder as well as from disengaging from the hinge even if being carried with the hinge cap fitted to the hinge. SOLUTION: The hinge cap 6 which can be fitted to an end of the hinge 5 inserted into a first housing 1 and second housing 2 to couple both the housings 1, 2 in a openable and closable manner, wherein the hinge cap 6 is provided with a cap main body 6a covering at least a part of the end of the hinge 5, an attachment portion 6c attached to the hinge 5 and an incorrect insertion preventing member 6h for preventing incorrect insertion of the hinge 5 when the hinge 5 fitted with the hinge cap 6 is inserted into the housing 1, 2. The attachment portion 6c protrudes in an end thereof from a flange-shaped portion 6b to a longitudinal direction of the hinge 5 in an opening side of the flange-shaped portion 6b and is provided with a disengagement preventing member 6g whose opening width is narrowed.
