METHOD OF STABILIZING SILICONE OIL-CONTAINING COSMETIC COMPOSITION

It is intended to provide a method of stabilizing a silicone oil-containing cosmetic composition whereby the emulsion is prevented from the thickening and separation even in long storage. A method of stabilizing a silicone oil-containing cosmetic composition characterized by adding polysaccharides containing at least fucose, glucose, glucuronic acid and rhamnose as the constituting monosaccharides to the silicone oil-containing cosmetic composition. It is preferable that the polysaccharides are produced by Alcaligenes latus B-16 strain and added in an amount of from 0.1 to 5% by weight (as dry solid matters) based on the silicone oil.
