The present invention relates to a clothes treating apparatus. The clothes treating apparatus comprises: a cabinet having a door to enable laundry to be withdrawn or introduced; a tub provided inside the cabinet to store washing water; a drum provided to be rotated inside the tub to store the laundry; a balancer provided to be integrally rotated with the drum and supplying water to the inside to maintain the dynamic balance of the drum; and a water supply unit supplying the water to the balancer. The balancer has a water discharge unit provided to discharge the water inside the balancer by siphon phenomenon when the water of a predetermined water level is supplied to the inside of the balancer.
