According to an embodiment, disclosed are a method and a method for predicting remaining useful life of a battery. The method comprises a step of measuring operating currents during a charging cycle and a discharging cycle. The method comprises a step of calculating capacity fade with respect to a plurality of cycles of the battery based on a plurality of degradation parameters and the measured operating currents. The degradation parameters include an operating temperature, a minimum SOC, a maximum SOC, and a material property. The method comprises a step of predicting RUL of the battery by using the calculated capacity fade. |
