Provided is a knurling apparatus for forming knurl on an outer circumferential side of a base material in the shape of a pipe or a circular rod. According to the present invention, the knurling apparatus comprises: a base unit which has two or more slide grooves arranged in a radial shape; a slide unit which is joined to be able to be transferred along the slide grooves; and a knurling wheel which has a plurality of knurling protrusions formed on an outer circumferential side, is joined to the slide unit to be able to rotate, and forms a knurled surface on the outer circumferential side of the base material during rotation. The knurling apparatus of the present invention enables very easy setting operation for readjusting the location of a knurling wheel as a diameter of the base material changes. When the knurling wheel presses the base material, the knurling apparatus prevents the base material from slipping and escaping from a normal location and from escaping since the rotation axis of the base material is inclined. |
