Reactive protection device for armored tank has active elements fitted in blind bores in inactive matrix

The protection device has a base body (2) provided by an inactive matrix with blind bores (3) on its inside and its outside for reception of active elements (4), together with reception bores (5,6) for fixing elements used for securing the protection device to the tank and for attachment of cover plates (7) and segments (8). The inactive material of the base body is provided by a porous aluminium alloy.
