<p>The invention relates to means of powering and controlling a plasma panel using transformers. More specifically, the invention relates to a plasma panel (1) which is equipped with networks (Y, Y') of sustain electrodes. According to the invention, said means consist of: at least one transformer (Tg), each transformer comprising a primary circuit (Pg) and a plurality of secondary circuits (Sgi) which are intended to power the sustain electrodes of the panel without an intermediary switch; a sustain pulse generator; and means of connecting said generator to the primary circuit(s) (Pg) of the transformer(s) (Tg) which are adapted such that the inductances of the transformer(s) (Tg) co-operate in such a way as to recover and re-inject the capacitive energy between the sustain electrodes, preferably without any other specific inductance in the circuit.
