<p>The invention teaches systems and methods for dynamically routing data in an all Optical network (Fig. 5A), in a manner that responds to changes in the network topology in real time. The invention can evolve in immediate response to changes in the network characteristics, non-limiting examples of which include changes in traffic, increase/decrease in number of network users, evolving QoS parameters, or changes in link capacities. The dynamic routing enabled by the invention supports dramatic improvements in service levels and the number of users which may be supported on the network (Fig. 5A).</p> |
