<p>A fan comprising a hub (14) serving as a rotation center, and a plurality of blades (13, 13, 13) disposed on the outer peripheral surface of the hub (14) with the outer peripheral ends (R) of its front and rear edges (13a, 13b) being positioned forwardly of the rotative direction (F). The blades (13, 13, 13) have their outer peripheries (13c) bent toward the suction side to define a starting point for leakage of air current, the radial width (W) of the bend being gradually increased from adjacent the front edge (13a) to adjacent the rear edge (13b). And the blade end vortex (beta) produced from the blade (13) positioned forwardly of the rotative direction (F) cancels the separation vortex from the pressure surface of the blade (13) positioned rearwardly of the rotative direction (F), so that the discharge vortex is suppressed.</p> |
