A printing device, comprising a frame having an installation surface for horizontally installing the print surface of a printed medium, a carriage beam (23) extending in a direction along the installation surface, a carriage (5) movably installed relative to the carriage beam (23) having an ink head (6) with a nozzle for jetting ink, a carriage support means (7) movably supporting the carriage (5) on the carriage beam (23) in vertical direction, an ink receiving part (8) receiving ink jetted from the ink head (6), and a receiving part support means (9) for supporting the carriage (5) so that the ink receiving part (8) can be moved to an ink support position under the ink head (6) and an escape position apart from the ink head (6).
