A water-based liquid preparation which contains as the active ingredient a compound represented by the formula (I)(wherein Y represents hydroxy, carboxyl, acyloxy, or alkoxycarbonyl; and R represents lower alkyl optionally having one or more halogen atoms), a pharmacologically acceptable salt of the compound, or a pharmacologically acceptable solvate of either and which further contains one or more substances selected from the group consisting of boric acid, borax, a phosphoric acid salt, and a carbonic acid salt.
